How You Can Help
Did you know you don't have to be a member to volunteer? We provide many supplemental services to help your child including:
- Helping Hands
- FCAT Proctoring
- Room Parent
- Mustang Gallop
- Family Night
- Baking Goodies
- Picture Day
- Health Screenings
- Book Fairs

Be a Helping Hand!
Only have a small amount of time, but still want to volunteer? Helping Hands is always in need of extra assistance. We meet every Thursday in the PTA room from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, starting in September. Helping Hands Volunteers are needed to complete classroom projects for teachers. Volunteers help with items such as cutting, laminating, die-cutting and much more.
Come when you can, or come every week! Stay for a while, or stay the whole time! Thank you for your time and support. Contact Kalli Burrell with any questions.
Become a Volunteer!
Take the first step to becoming a volunteer by registering! Please fill out the online application and choose Mill Creek Elementary (and any other school). The school will be notified when you are cleared. Please note that this process can take 2-3 weeks. Once you are confirmed you are cleared for 3 years!To get started click here!

Membership Has Its Advantages
Every family that donates their $10 to support our school becomes a PTA Member. What does this mean, you might ask? It means you now hold a right to vote on appropriations that are spent at your school. It also means you have access to National, State Wide and Local discounts. Your membership card allows you discounts to great places like LegoLand and Insurance for your home or automobile, to name a few. Your Key Tag grants you access to discounts locally from MCE Supports, be sure to check out the Key Tags section of our web site for the most current discounts.
Our PTA holds fun family events, offers great family discounts and services, raises money for the school, and helps our community. If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact Tina Nagel for more information.
